Rustic Tapers feature a wonderful texture and color. They are made using the traditional “drawn taper” process that builds up the wax in many thin layers around the wick. This results in subtle variations of color and excellent burning qualities. Each taper burns about 1" an hour; they are smokeless and dripless when burned in a draft-free environment. Rustic Tapers are fragrance-free and fit all standard taper holders. Rustic Tapers are available in a wide range of colors to suit any occasion.

They use a superior grade of fragrance for their candles. The candles are not a soy based candle however they do use 30% soy in their candles. The remainder is a custom paraffin blend wax made specifically for their candles. Most importantly all of their jar candles are hand poured.

Here at Morgan Imports, we make a distinction between a diffuser and a fragrance lamp!

The "Diffuser" uses a petroleum based liquid that is infused with fragrance. This liquid in placed in a bottle and then bamboo reeds are placed inside. The liquid is absorbed through the bamboo and as air drafts move around, the fragrance is diffused into the room.

The "Fragrance Lamp" uses an alcohol based liquid that is infused with fragrance. A fragrance lamp, unlike candles and other home fragrances, cleans the air by a process called catalytic oxidation. These lamps were first produced in France in the early 1900's to be used to clean the air in hospitals.
